The house is complete and indeed being lived in although there is still
finishing work continuing both inside and out. Inside this includes some of
the decoration and fixtures and fittings in areas that are non-essential,
outside there is work continuing on the garden area as well as to ensure
adhesion of earth and vegetation to the vertical section at the top of the east
wall. Despite this the house looks (and feels) stunning and the terrace on a
warm evening is a wonderfully restful place. The pictures speak for
themselves. The ones taken by Steve Taylor were for an article in the
January 2006 edition of
Self-Build & Design Magazine featuring Feldon Forest Farm. It was a
fitting accolade to all the hard work that has gone (and indeed continues to
go) into the project.
